1 | Prepare Enutrition powder formula, cup, whisk, warm water. |

2 | Bend the gastric tube back, connect it to an empty syringe, and withdraw the stomach contents. |

1 | If the aspirated material is dark green, dark red, blood-stained, or brown, do not proceed with feeding. Seek medical attention immediately. During the feeding, if the patient experiences coughing, vomiting, or if the face turns an unnatural shade of purple, stop the feeding immediately and seek medical attention. |
2 | Maintain the head of the bed elevated at 30 degrees for about one hour after feeding to promote digestion, absorption, and prevent aspiration pneumonia. Remember to change the NG tube tape daily, but DO NOT attach it to the same area of the nose. |
3 | Use the Y-shaped breathable tape to secure the NG tube to the nose and protect the skin. Pay attention to oral cavity hygiene by performing mouth care every morning and evening, or as needed. |
